Job Duties:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in landscaping, lawn and garden maintenance, grounds maintenance, and related horticultural services.
Plan, organize, and direct daily landscaping and grounds maintenance activities at various job sites.
Assign duties to workers and establish work schedules and procedures to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise landscaping and grounds maintenance staff.
Inspect completed work and job sites to ensure quality standards, project specifications, and safety requirements are met.
Plan and estimate labour, materials, equipment, and supplies required for landscaping and maintenance projects.
Requisition and order plants, soil, fertilizers, landscaping materials, tools, equipment, and other required supplies.
Monitor the use of materials, equipment, and labour to maintain productivity and control project costs.
Resolve work-related problems and coordinate activities with management, clients, contractors, and other trades when required.
Provide technical guidance to workers regarding landscaping methods, plant care, grounds maintenance, equipment use, and work procedures.
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in the relevant field is required.
Language: English is required.
