Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare creams, icings, frostings, glazes, fillings and other decorative components.
• Decorate pastries, donuts and other baked goods according to established recipes and product specifications.
• Apply icing, whipped cream, glaze, chocolate, fruit, nuts, sprinkles and other toppings.
• Finish and decorate pastry products using piping bags, spatulas and other decorating tools.
• Assemble and finish cream pastries and specialty dessert products.
• Follow standardized designs, portion sizes, colour requirements and presentation standards.
• Prepare decorated products for packaging, storage and distribution to retail locations.
• Inspect finished products for appearance, consistency, weight, size and overall quality.
• Correct minor decorating defects and ensure that products meet the company’s presentation standards.
• Work with pastry makers and other production staff to meet daily production schedules.
• Maintain consistent decorating quality during high-volume production.
• Label, organize and safely store creams, icings, fillings and decorated products.
• Clean and sanitize decorating tools, equipment and work areas.
• Follow workplace health and safety, food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with training new employees in pastry decorating techniques.
Academic, Training and Experience Qualifications
• Secondary school graduation certificate required
• 1-2 years of experience is required

• Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure
Wage
• Salary: $20 ~ $21 per hour for 30~44 hours a week at 52 weeks a year
