Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and measure ingredients according to standardized recipes and production requirements.
• Mix and prepare doughs, batters, fillings and other pastry ingredients.
• Produce a variety of pastries, including croissants, Danish pastries, and other sweet baked goods.
• Roll, cut, shape and portion pastry dough according to product specifications.
• Operate mixers, sheeters, proofers, ovens and other bakery production equipment.
• Monitor proofing, baking time and oven temperature to ensure consistent product quality.
• Prepare fillings, creams, glazes and other components used in pastry production.
• Inspect baked products for proper size, shape, texture, colour and quality.
• Adjust ingredients, baking times or production methods when necessary to maintain product standards.
• Follow daily production schedules and prepare the required quantity of pastry products.
• Maintain accurate records of production quantities, ingredient usage and product wastage.
• Store ingredients and finished products in accordance with food safety and storage requirements.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, mixers, ovens and other bakery equipment.
• Follow workplace health and safety, food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with training new employees in pastry preparation, production procedures and equipment operation.
Academic, Training and Experience Qualifications
• Secondary school graduation certificate required
• 1-2 years of experience is required

• Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure
Wage
• Salary: $20 ~ $21 per hour for 30~44 hours a week at 52 weeks a year
