Key Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and cook ramen, rice dishes, appetizers and other menu items according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards
Prepare ingredients for daily service, including vegetables, meat, seafood, sauces and garnishes
Operate standard kitchen equipment to cook noodles, broths, proteins and side dishes
Follow established portion sizes and check the quality and presentation of food before serving
Prepare special orders for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions when required
Monitor food and supply levels and inform the kitchen supervisor when restocking is required
Store ingredients and prepared foods safely to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, workstations and food-preparation areas
Requirements
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of cooking experience
• Language: English
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; standing for extended periods; work under pressure; tight deadlines; repetitive tasks; attention to detail
