Strata Drilling Group Inc. located at 129 Ringwood Dr, Stouffville, ON L4A 8C1 is hiring one (1) Level 1 Junior Operator (NOC 72501) to start as soon as possible.
Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent
Wage: $31 per hour
Hours of work: 35 - 40 hours per week

Job duties:
Review client requirements and proposed locations for drilling.
Operate drilling rigs, primarily Geoprobe 420 and Geoprobe 6712DT, to collect soil samples using vapor pins for environmental assessments.
Install monitoring wells, screens, casings, and protective covers to support environmental site investigations.
Document geological formations encountered and complete an Ontario well record.
Clean and disinfect wells in preparation for use.
Perform routine mechanical maintenance work on drilling rigs and equipment.
Provide other drilling services, such as repairs, decommissioning of wells, remediation injection programs.
Minimum requirements:
Applicants must have 1-2 years of related drilling work experience.
Minimum completion of high school diploma.
Basic knowledge in English is required.
Valid Ontario Driver's License or ability to secure one.
Preference will be given to those with:
Drilling technician or similar post-secondary or trade education
Valid Ontario Well Technician License
