Carpenter – Permanent Full-Time

Location: Mississauga, ON L5E 1C8
Belfast Restoration is seeking two dedicated and experienced Carpenters to join our team. These are permanent, full-time positions starting as soon as possible.
Position Details:
· Salary: $37.00/hour
· Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
· Positions Available: 2
Requirements:
· Language: English
· Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
· Experience: At least 1 year of work experience as a carpenter required
Responsibilities:
· Prepare estimates of labour, materials, and supplies required to complete carpentry work for residential and commercial restoration, renovation, and repair projects.
· Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, sketches, and project specifications to determine carpentry work requirements for restoration and renovation projects.
· Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials required for structural repairs, renovations, and restoration work.
· Prepare cost estimates, material requirements, tenders, and quotations for carpentry
· Build, repair, and replace foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, framing, and roof systems as required for residential and commercial restoration projects.
· Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, trim, hardware, and other finish carpentry components
· Schedule and coordinate daily carpentry activities at job sites
· Maintain, repair, renovate, and restore residential and commercial structures, including repairing wooden framing, floors, walls, roofs, doors, windows, and other structural and finishing components affected by water, fire, storm, or other damage.
