Hillcrest Psychology clinic located at 3350 Merrittville Hwy Suite 12, Thorold, Ontario, actively seeks a psychologist to fill a vacant position.
The schedule is a flexible, working day and evening hours. The clinic operates onsite and the position is onsite.
Work must be completed at the physical location with no option to work remotely.
We require that you have an earned doctorate degree, and experience of 7 months to less than 1 year.
The responsibilities are to provide therapy, apply psychological theory and principles regarding behaviour and mental processes; Maintain accurate records and administer standard psychological tests for assessment, and interpret test results; Administer and score psychological tests,under the supervision of a registered psychologist; Conduct follow-up assessments. The treatment experience is client-centered or humanistic/experiential therapy, cognitive therapy, psychotherapy and brief therapy.
You will have a large caseload and tight deadlines. You must be accurate, client focused, dependable and have efficient interpersonal skills, as well as excellent oral and written English communication. Use sound judgement and have sold values and ethics.
The rate is depending on experience range of $100 to $159 hourly, 30 to 40 hours / week.
