Key Responsibilities
Communicate professionally with patients, family members, caregivers, and healthcare personnel to coordinate smooth and timely transfers.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, transportation regulations, and infection-prevention protocols.
Promptly report any safety concerns, incidents, vehicle issues, or changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked vehicle in accordance with company standards.
Safely transport patients to and from hospitals, clinics, care facilities, and other scheduled destinations when required.
Provide courteous and reliable transportation assistance to seniors, prioritizing their safety, dignity, and comfort.
Assist passengers with non-emergency services.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Trained in First Aid / CPR / Patient Services / Patient Transport / Non-emergency services
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
Dependable, punctual, and able to remain calm in challenging situations.
Demonstrated compassion, patience, professionalism, and respect for patient confidentiality.
Clean driving record.
Ability to safely perform physical duties, including assisting with mobility and transfers, where required.
Previous experience assisting seniors, patients, or individuals with mobility needs is considered an asset.
