Nharo African Art & Crafts, Etobicoke Ontario is a specialty retailer and importer of authentic African art, sculpture, jewelry, textiles, and cultural artifacts. As our operations expand, we require a professional EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT to provide high‑level administrative, coordination, and organizational support to senior management. This role requires exceptional organization, advanced communication skills, and the ability to coordinate complex workflows across e‑commerce, customer relations, inventory operations, and digital platforms.
Job Duties of this position include:
Manage and prioritize all communications for senior management across email, social media, direct messaging, and website channels.
Draft, edit, and prepare executive correspondence, agendas, briefing notes, reports, presentations, and internal documentation
Organize meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, track action items, and ensure timely follow‑up.
Maintain confidential records, digital files, inventory documentation, and operational logs for executive review
Manage high‑value customer communications through email, social media, website inquiries, and other digital channels.
Coordinate with Sales and Shipping teams to resolve customer concerns, shipment delays, and order discrepancies.
Update product listings, descriptions, pricing, inventory information, promotional content, and website pages.
Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, publish approved content, and support SEO activities.
Prepare spreadsheets, dashboards, sales summaries, and reports for executive review.
Conduct research, compile information, and prepare briefing notes for management on products, markets, and operational improvements.
Identify workflow gaps, propose solutions, and support implementation of new administrative systems.
Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth operational flow and accurate information sharing.
· Support Shopify e-commerce operations, including product listings, descriptions, pricing, inventory information, promotional content, website updates, and order follow-up.
· Support live-sale operations through show product curation, claims tracking, and post-sale follow-up.
Additional skills

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
· Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
· Professional, courteous, and able to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
· Interest in African art, culture, and artisan communities is an asset.
Job Type: Permanent, full-time position
Wage: $37/hour for 35-40 hours per week
Overtime: 1.5 times the wage after 44 hours
Experience: 2-3 years in a similar role.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in public administration, political science or related field.
Language Requirement: Fluency in spoken and written English
