Nurse Next Door 2 Bloor Street W, Suite 700 Toronto Ontario is seeking a qualified and experienced BUSINESS GROWTH & SERVICES MANAGER to coordinate and manage business-development activities, operational initiatives, administrative processes and service-related business functions.
The successful candidate will contribute to the organization's growth while coordinating business projects, client-service processes, administrative operations, employee-compliance activities and community outreach.
Main Duties
Plan, organize, coordinate and monitor business growth and operational initiatives.
Develop and implement business-development activities to expand the organization's client and referral network.
Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, community organizations and other relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate community outreach and community events supporting business growth.
Coordinate and monitor special business projects, including insurance claims, accident-benefit initiatives, compliance projects and other organizational initiatives.
Monitor operational processes and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and service quality.
Coordinate client and caregiver communication processes and administrative workflows.
Oversee scheduling processes and coordinate operational requirements.
Liaise with management, administrative personnel, caregivers and external service providers to resolve operational issues.
Coordinate the resolution of technical and administrative issues and liaise with IT/help-desk providers where necessary.
Support employee-compliance procedures and organizational policies.
Coordinate employee-file setup and onboarding processes.
Participate in recruitment, candidate selection and hiring-support activities.
Monitor employee documentation and administrative records.
Support client and caregiver service operations and participate in first and supervisory visits when required.
Monitor client and caregiver feedback and identify opportunities for service improvement.
Coordinate special projects and report progress, issues and outcomes to management.
Employment Requirements
A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration, business management, commerce, marketing, management or another field relevant to the position; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
2-3 years experience of progressively responsible experience in business administration, business development, operations, management, service delivery or a related field.
Demonstrated experience coordinating business projects and operational initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, referral partners and community organizations.
Strong organizational, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
Experience with scheduling, administrative systems and common business software.
Experience in a health-care, home-care, community-service or related service environment is considered an asset.
Work Conditions
This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 40 hours per week. The position may require travel within the local community for outreach, meetings, community events and business-development activities.
The successful candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
