Horse and Ryder Pub Ltd., located at 20699 42 Ave, Langley, BC, V3A 3B1, urgently requires one Permanent & Full Time Restaurant Manager. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.
Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant & pub.
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
• Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices as needed.
• Perform conflict resolution actions as appropriate to any issues escalated by staff or customers.
• Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• Prepare reports and other performance analysis documentation.
• Monitor staff performance and hold staff meeting to discuss any areas of improvement.
• Plan and work within the budgets, maximize profits and achieve sales targets set by the employer and implement marketing plans and promotions.
• Recruit and arrange for training of new staff.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are being followed at all times.
• Optimize food cost by practicing inventory control standards
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of a 1 or 2-year college program is required.
Experience: More than 2 years of work experience in a relevant field is required.
Language: English is required.
Number of Positions: 1
Wage: $38.50 per hour for 35 hours per week along with 4% Vacation Pay
