Job Duties:

Follow the daycare menu and recipes.
Prepare meals for children with allergies or special dietary needs.
Make sure food is prepared and served safely.
Follow food safety and hygiene rules.
Keep the kitchen and cooking areas clean and organized.
Check food supplies and let the manager know when more items are needed.
Store food properly and check expiry dates.
Skills & Qualifications:
Secondary high school graduation certificate.
1-2 years of previous cooking experience preferably in a similar setting.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food allergies and special dietary needs.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
Must have Food safe certification and food handling certification.
