TCI FIELD SERVICES INC. is seeking a qualified and experienced Geotechnical and Environmental Driller to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating drilling equipment and performing various geotechnical and environmental drilling activities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Operate drilling machines to conduct Standard Penetration Test (SPT) sampling, mud rotary drilling, telescopic drilling, rock coring, and other duties associated with geotechnical and environmental drilling.
Operate tracked or truck-mounted drilling rigs equipped with augers or other attachments to drill holes for building foundations and pilings.
Measure drilling locations and stake out patterns of holes to be drilled.
Inspect drilling equipment and identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise.
Perform general drilling duties associated with geotechnical and environmental field operations.
Job Requirements
Minimum of two years of work experience as a driller.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and operational problems.
Ability to operate drilling equipment used in geotechnical and environmental drilling operations.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
