We are looking for a full-time In-Home Caregiver to assist an individual with disabilities located in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada.
Salary: $23 per hour; 40 hours per week with possible overtime;

Duties:
Personal Care and Daily Living
• Assisting with showers, grooming, oral care, and bathroom use.
• Helping the person choose clothes and put them on safely.
Preparing balanced meals, adhering to special diets, and feeding when needed.
Helping the person move from a bed to a wheelchair, or walk using mobility aids.
•Accompanying the individual to medical visits, therapy, and community outings.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
Health and Household Management
• Organizing schedules and ensuring prescribed medications are taken on a timely basis
• Light housekeeping duties
Requirements:
• Reliable and dependable
• Nonsmoker
• Nursing experience preferred whether in a private home, clinics, hospitals or other health care facilities – experience gained whether inside or outside Canada
• Physically able to assist with transfers
Experience:
• 1 to 2 years of experience in taking care of a person with disabilities
• Experience in health care would be an asset
Willing to sponsor with LMIA if needed
