Job Description:
Supervise other workers
Establish and implement policies and procedures
Train, direct and motivate staff
Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs
Determine and establish office procedures and routines
Schedule and confirm appointments
Manage contracts
Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
Answer electronic enquiries
Oversee development of communication strategies
Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information
Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Wage & Hours of Work
- $26.50 an hour
- 30-35 per week
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Benefits Vacation: 4% remuneration of total gross salary
Language of work: English Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of administrative assistant experience is required.
