We are looking for a caring Home Child Care Provider to join our family in Burnaby. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood careand committed to fostering a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for one 11-year-old healthy and outgoing girl.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, individualized care and supervision for children in a safe home environment
Engage child in age-appropriate learning activities to support development
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
Pick up from/to school and appointments
Organize and maintain a tidy, child-friendly play and learning area
Support daily routines, including meal times, naps, and educational play
Help child with homework
Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development
Organize activities such as games, and outings for child
Requirements:
Completion of secondary education (required)
Valid First Aid and CPR certification (required)
Criminal record check (required)
Driving record check (asset)
Experience or education in early childhood development (asset)
Ability to provide a caring, fun, and supportive environment
Be able to communicate in English, able to speak Chinese is an asset but not required
