· Salary: $60000 per annum [(less all deductions required by law, paid bi-weekly) -This salary is inclusive of holiday pay and/or any overtime hours worked by the Employee.]

Employment conditions: must be available to work in any shift. Ability to work hours to accommodate fluctuating business needs which can include some late evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Completion of a college program or courses in related subject.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Large workload, Attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to interpret, prepare, and analyse financial data and reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· You will report to the controller.
· Maintain the General Ledger and reconcile GL accounts.
· Prepare general ledger reconciliations.
· Prepare invoices, communication with customers and reconcile customer accounts.
· Record payments; ensuring accuracy with credit card payment provider.
· Verify that transactions comply with company financial policies and procedures.
· Assist in the preparation of month end and year end and income tax preparation.
· Provide support and backup for other Financial Team positions including cross-training with AP and Payroll team members.
· Train workers such as clerks in duties and policies.
· Prepare and submit financial statements and reports and prepare and assist with reports for management.
· Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments.
· Store, update and retrieve financial data.
· Prepare journal entry
· Manage accounts receivable and payable.
· Prepare trial balance
· Open and close books for auditors
· Prepare bank reconciliations.
· Review on the behaviour with regard to deposits and withdrawals, overdraws, defaults, dishonoured payments and spending patterns.
· Prepare payroll
· Assess fixed assets and depreciation
· Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting
· Store, update and retrieve financial data
· Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems and general office duties.
· Address customers' complaints or concerns.
· Perform any other duties as per business needs.
