** Note: As per operating our construction business, you may be required to work for different work sites than our registered company address depending on a project by project.
l Key Duties and Responsibilities:
o Load, unload and move painting materials, tools, and equipment to work areas
o Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, masking, and covering surrounding areas under the supervision of painters
o Mix and prepare paints, coatings, and other materials as required
o Set up and dismantle ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment needed for painting projects
o Assist painters in applying paint, stain, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
o Clean up and remove rubble, debris, and other hazardous materials to maintain a safe job site
o Handle and dispose of paint, solvents, and other chemicals in compliance with safety regulations
o Perform general labouring activities related to painting projects as directed
l Education: Secondary High School
l Experience: Experience an asset
l Language: English
l Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
l Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots; Safety glasses/goggles; Gloves; Ear plugs
l Work Site environment: Outdoors; Dusty
l Work conditions and physical capabilities:
