Wages: $35.50 per hour
Vicki Gould Holdings Ltd. DBA Canadian Tire is currently seeking an experienced Automobile Mechanic to join our team at our Surrey location. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical skills and at least 5 years of hands-on experience, especially in electrical diagnostics and repair.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles to identify problems and suggest repairs
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake servicing, and tire replacements
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles
- Replace or repair worn and damaged parts
- Test repaired vehicles to ensure proper performance
- Keep records of all work done on vehicles
- Work safely and keep the work area clean and organized
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an auto mechanic
- Strong understanding of electrical systems in vehicles
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
